When you are chasing the big splits, the devil is in the detail. A 60/40 split with a franchise may sound good, but how good is it really? To start with, if it is an after-franchise fee split that makes it 60% of 90%-92%, not 100%. That’s really 55.2%

Some other questions to ask:
• Does your Super also come out of your “60%”? It usually does.
• What is the advertising recovery? Usually, it is 100% advertising recovery.
• Who pays the Super, you as a Contractor or the Company?
